It will be possible to go canyoning in the “Fosso di Canna” located in the Madonie Park in the coming months. “Madonie A Passo Lento” is working to the path, more than 2 km long. The wild environment is impenetrable and uncontaminated, it is situated in a gorge of 500 meters deep, among “Pizzo Canna” mountain to the west end “Piano Farina” tops to the east. It is a place where a couple of golden eagles dominates. The Canyoning is known in Italian as “torrentismo”,
a sport that involves jumping into a mountain stream that is flowing very fast, swiming, going through narrows cracks, sliding on water smoothed rocks and jumping in natural puddles formed by stream.
